The B has spoken.

During a recent interview with ET Canada to promote her new podcast, Bethenny Frankel was asked about the mass amount of Housewives who have left the franchise within the last year and revealed she believes bad behavior gets rewarded on these show and has told Andy Cohen that to his face. Bethenny explained:

“There’s a shakeup across Real Housewives. I feel like the inmates are running the asylum. The content of the show is that bad behavior gets rewarded. It’s like the upside-down. I’ve said to Andy, to his face, you can’t reward bad behavior. We’re still technically employees. Money drives the whole machine. Any woman who tells you they’re doing the Housewives and it’s not because of the money is lying.”

This is all facts. The whole point of the Housewives franchise is to fight, say snarky things and spread rumors about your cast members, so naturally the shadier you are, the more popular you become. Bethenny definitely displayed her fair share of bad behavior and was able to build a million dollar business from it, so it's a little rich for her to be calling out the show's algorithm now.

Since leaving the franchise, Bethenny inked a deal with HBO Max to star in her own Apprentice style show entitled, The Big Shot with Bethenny, where contestants compete for a job at Skinnygirl (lol) and started her own podcast about business, which according to Bethenny and the iTunes charts, is booming. The reality star turned mogul explained:

“It [the podcast] is big. I didn’t even know there were lists and charts. I’m so pleasantly surprised. It’s like I thought I was going to get a C and I woke up to an A.”
