Faye From "Euphoria" Charged For Shoplifting $28 Blouse

One of my favourite shows Euphoria has been off the air for almost a year, however, one of their breakout stars is using the show's hiatus to create some headlines of her own.
Chloe Cherry who played Faye, a heroin addict with lips bigger than my future on Euphoria, was charged with "misdemeanour retail theft" in January after she was caught stealing a $28 blouse from a mall in her hometown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is what we call iconic behaviour.
Lancaster Online, the town's only form of press I'm guessing, was the first to report on "the crime" but that didn't stop TMZ from doing their own digging.
According to their sources, Chloe took the blouse into a dressing room, held onto it and then left without paying. The former pornstar-turned-actress did pay for other items from the store using her credit card but the $28 blouse was not one of them.
Following the incident, the cops got involved who are claiming that Chloe admitted to stealing the blouse before giving it back to an officer, however, her team is telling a different story. In a statement to TMZ, her reps denied any admission of stealing the blouse, telling the outlet:
"In December, there was confusion over a blouse that wasn’t properly charged to my client’s credit card. In no way did she 'admit' to taking the blouse, since that was not the case. This story seems to be more about a local store trading on a celebrity’s name more than anything else.”
The local store would definitely be loving the clout they're receiving from this scandal and Chloe's "celebrity status" is obviously the only reason they're pressing charges over a $28 item. There are two explanations for this situation. Chloe either forgot to pay for the blouse, considering she purchased other items, in which case this whole thing is redundant and should disappear.
The other explanation is that Chloe purposefully stole a $28 blouse from a random mall in Pennysvalvia which, ladies and gentlemen, is fucking iconic. If you have Bratz's lips and you're running around shoplifting fugly blouses just for the sake of it then you need to be teaching classes in how to serve cunt at your local community college because that is iconic behaviour.
A preliminary hearing for the case is scheduled for March 1st where Chloe will probably get a slap on the wrist. #FreeChloe!
